Goldstein & Associates/Law Offices-Mediation Center represents men, women and children in all areas of family law. Led by principal attorney Judy A. Goldstein, we are a “client’s rights” firm, rather than a firm that focuses on just “women’s rights” or “men’s rights.” Because of our approach, we believe that we are better able to see all aspects of a case to best represent our clients’ interests. Our family law clients are very satisfied with the outcome of their cases.“Real People Helping Real People”
At Goldstein & Associates, we know that the client may have come to us during an emotionally challenging time. We are here to offer guidance and advice. We know that each client has a unique set of circumstances and recognize that there is no “cookie-cutter” solution to the issues. We will personalize our approach to best serve the client’s needs. Our family law attorneys serve the “whole” person. We encourage our clients to participate in all phases of their case and to that end, always keep our clients informed of the status and progress of their matters.
We represent clients in the following areas of family law:
- Child Custody
- Child Support
- Domestic Violence
- Post-Dissolution Matters
- Mediation - Family Issues
At Goldstein & Associates, we recognize that there may be more than one approach to resolving any family law matter. We are here to provide guidance so that our clients are best able to consider their options before making the decisions which are best for them and their families.
In family disputes, we believe that the negotiated solution is usually the preferred outcome, because settlement allows the client to participate in the decision making and ultimate outcome. Ms. Goldstein’s extensive family mediation experience allows her to bring this perspective to her own cases. She believes that understanding the “other side” allows her to better represent the client. The preferred pace is the pace that is comfortable to the client. Clients are encouraged to participate in all substantive decisions.
Judy Goldstein has a reputation as a fierce and aggressive client advocate. Despite her preference for negotiated settlement, the firm is ready and able to litigate client cases in court.
Ms. Goldstein is often appointed by the courts to act as Guardian ad Litem (GAL) for minors in child custody, visitation, removal and similar family law disputes. Her GAL work affords her insight into what children and parents experience during family disputes. This experience also allows her to better represent her own clients when children are involved.
Goldstein & Associates also handles Criminal, Adoption, Juvenile, DUI and Traffic, and Real Estate matters.
Our law firm and mediation center has developed a solid reputation for excellent, zealous, personal, and ethical representation. Our clients come to our Mokena offices from Mokena and the surrounding communities of Frankfort, New Lenox, Manhattan, Lockport, Homer Glen, Orland Park, Tinley Park and Joliet, as well as from other villages and cities in the Will and Cook County areas. We also represent out-of-state clients on a regular basis.
We offer clients an initial consultation of up to one hour at a reduced rate so we can get to know each other better and discuss matters that concern the potential client. For a consultation appointment, please call (708) 479-0800 or email Goldstein & Associates/Law Offices-Mediation Center at firstname.lastname@example.org.
